David M. Strzepek, 80

ADAMS, Mass. — Mr. David M. Strzepek, 80, of Adams, died Friday evening, May 15, 2026 at Berkshire Medical Center. He was born in Adams on February 5, 1946, a son of the late Alec J. and Sophie G. (Rymarski) Strzepek. He attended Adams schools, graduating from the former Adams Memorial High School with the Class of 1963. He then attended Berkshire Community College and University of Massachusetts.

David first worked as sales manager for the former Crystal Creamery in Adams. He then entered the construction field, working for Petricca Construction Co. for several years, and then for J.H. Maxymillian Construction Co. for many years, retiring as a foreman. He had been a communicant of the Parish of St. John Paul II, Adams. He was a former member and past president of the Cheshire Lions Club, and had been a player and coach for the Adams PAL.

His wife, the former Patricia A. George, whom he married on May 30, 1968, died on February 17, 2025. He is survived by his son, Eric Strzepek and his wife Erica of Harwich, MA; his daughter, Sarah Hart of Adams; his five grandchildren, Jarrett, Cole and Nolan Strzepek and Kaitlin and Julianna Hart; his brother, John Strzepek and his wife Carol of Arizona, his sister, Ruby Koczela of Dalton, as well as several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Joan Jozefiak.

A graveside service will be held on SATURDAY, JUNE 13th at 10:00 AM in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams. Relatives and friends are invited. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations in David’s memory be made to the Epilepsy Foundation of America, 3540 Crain Hwy., Suite 675, Bowie, MD 20716, or at www.epilepsy.com

I worked for Dave and Pat as a milkman from 1974 until they closed. One of the few jobs I truly enjoyed. Dave was one of the best bosses , ever. You will be missed by many my old friend. Miss those breakfasts at the corner lunch.

Life long friend to my parents, Dave and Patricia were very special to all of us who grew up around them.
The life lessons he instilled upon all of us were well appreciated So many fun times at The Youth Center and the road trips to Fenway Park
