Arthur J. Weeden, 77

ADAMS, Mass. —
Mr. Arthur J. Weeden, 77, of Adams, died on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield.
He was born in Troy, NY on August 11, 1948, a son of the late Wesley and Florence (Lewis) Weeden. He graduated from Berlin High School in New York
Mr. Weeden was a veteran of the Vietnam War era, having served with the United States Army until receiving his honorable discharge on July 8, 1970.
Mr. Weeden was a truck driver for several trucking companies, notably, St. Johnsbury and Yellow Freight.
He was a member of the Parish of St. John Paul II at Notre Dame des Sept Douleurs Church, Adams. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, mowing his lawn, and watching NASCAR, the Patriots and the Red Sox.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, the former Katherine Andrews, whom he married on August 1, 1975; two sons, Arthur Weeden of Ellington, CT and Treavor Weeden and his wife Jamie of Hopkinton, MA; two grandchildren, TJ and Sophie Weeden and by many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by five brothers, Melvin, Earl, Victor, Richard and Leonard Weeden and a son Christopher.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, Augst 15th at 10:00 A.M. in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams. Relatives and close friends are invited to attend.
