Beth A. (Shartrand) VanHulst, 66

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Beth (Shartrand) VanHulst passed away on Aug. 28, 2026, after a long battle against cancer. She was 66 years old.

She was a truly sweet and loving individual always smiling and spreading cheer . Most will remember her for working as a teacher's assistant in the North Adams school system and for being one of Jehovah's Witnesses. Her beliefs were extremely important to her and she loved the preaching activity and talking about Jehovah. She also worked as a hairdresser for many years.

She was a loving mother to her son Jeremy Shartrand . After his graduation from school they moved back to Pennsylvania to be near her family where she continued to do hairdressing and her preaching work.

Beth is survived by her husband Pierre, and her beloved son Jeremy Shartrand of Line Lexington, Pa; two sisters, Jenny Skeeters of Lansdale, Pa and Brenda Becker of Harleysville, Pa. And her parents, William and Kay Faust of Lansdale, PA.

Funeral services are private and for family only in Lansdale, PA.

Beth will surely be missed by anyone who knew her.
