Shirley (Richmond) St. Pierre, 94

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — Shirley Beatrice (Richmond) St. Pierre, 94, of Williamstown, died on Saturday, September 26, 2026, in McDonough, GA. She was born in North Adams on October 20, 1931, the daughter of the late William and Anna (Langner) Richmond.
Shirley attended school in Williamstown and graduated from Williamstown High School in 1949. She was primarily a devoted mother and homemaker, but also worked at Rudnick Cleaners in Williamstown, General Cable, Berkshire Ivy, and was last employed by Treet Cleaners.
Shirley enjoyed camping, baking, and knitting. She was a member of the Friendship Club at the Harper Center in Williamstown and was a communicant of St. Patrick’s & Raphael Parish.
Shirley was predeceased by her loving husband, Ovila P. “Sonny” St. Pierre, whom she married on November 4, 1950, at St. Raphael’s Church in Williamstown. Sonny died on December 30, 2021.
Shirley leaves her beloved children, Robert St. Pierre (Barbara) of North Adams, MA; Alan St. Pierre of Belton, SC; Dennis St. Pierre of Williamstown, MA; Paula St. Pierre Piacenti of Adams, MA and Carla St. Pierre of McDonough Georgia, with whom she made her home. She also leaves 11 grandchildren, Sonja, Dawn, Paul Jr., Timothy, Joshua, Alan Jr., Aimee, Nicole, Jenna, Caitlyn and Caryn; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Shirley also leaves her sisters, Elaine Anderson and Sandra Schryver, both of Williamstown. She was predeceased by her son, Paul St. Pierre, who died on July 17, 2015, and her sisters, Ruth Richmond, who died on April 16, 1993, and June Ogert, who died on February 11, 2017.
FUNERAL NOTICE: A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 16, 2026 at 11:00 AM at St. Patrick’s & Raphael Church in Williamstown. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Cemetery.
