Madeline Morrison

Madeline "Mandy" Davison Morrison, 82, of Pensacola, Fla., former longtime resident of Dalton, died yesterday at Specialty Care of Pensacola. Born in Pittsfield on March 29, 1919, daughter of Albert and Harriet Harris Childs, she received a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Russell Sage College in 1942. Mrs. Morrison was employed as a registered nurse in the Dalton area from 1943 until her retirement in 1977. She was an active member of First Congregational Church in Dalton and had volunteered in many areas of the community. Her first husband, John F. Davison, is deceased. Her husband, Timothy J. Morrison, is also deceased. She leaves a daughter, Susan Vigeant, and a son, John F. Davison, both of Pensacola; three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mrs. Morrison's name to First Congregational Church of Dalton.
