Ceceilia Veronica Stasiowski, 84, of 38 Richmond Lane died Sunday afternoon at home. Born in Adams on July 22, 1917, daughter of Stanley and Catherine Krupczak Ciejka, she attended schools there, including St. Stanislaus' Elementary School. She also attended the former Springfield Beauty Academy in Springfield. Mrs. Stasiowski was employed for more than 20 years by the former Sprague Electric Co. in North Adams. She retired 25 years ago. She also had owned a beauty salon on Hoosac Street for several years. She was a communicant of St. Stanislaus' Church and a member of its Rosary Sodality. She also was a member of the Polish Women's Alliance. Her husband, Stephen J. Stasiowski, whom she married June 20, 1938, died Sept. 19, 1989. She leaves a sister, Stefania Jacob of Williamstown. She was predeceased by two brothers, Theodore Ciejka and Walter Ciejka. The funeral will be Friday at 9:15 from AUGE-PACIOREK-SIMMONS FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Adams, by the Rev. John C. Chwalek, pastor. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery, Adams. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Thursday from 5 to 7. Memorial donations may be made to St. Stanislaus' Church or School through the funeral home.
