Bernice M. Perry

Bernice M. Perry, 42, of 235 East St. died yesterday at home. Born in Pittsfield on May 27, 1959, daughter of Loretta King Hood and the late Edward Hood, she attended Otis Consolidated School and was a 1977 graduate of Lee High School. She had made her home in Lee since 1992. She was a member of the First Congregational Church where she was active on various committees. She enjoyed needle crafts. Besides her mother of Lenox, she leaves her husband, Mark W. Perry, whom she married Oct. 24, 1992; a son, Edward A. Perry at home; a daughter, Laura C. Perry at home; a brother, Myron B. Hood of Lee, and three sisters, Marion F. Middleton and Robin M. Paulson, both of Otis and Phyllis H. DeFreest of Stephentown, N.Y. The funeral will be Saturday morning at 10 at the First Congregational Church in Lee with the Rev. Bert W. Marshall, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery in Lee. Visiting hours at the KELLY FUNERAL HOME will be tomorrow, Friday, from 4 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, friends wishing may make donations to the First Congregational Church in care of the Kelly Funeral Home, 3 Main St., Lee, MA 01238.

She also had two brothers Thomas P. Failla, and Arthur L. Failla.. Thomas did 22 Years in the Navy, and Arthur, did A tour in Vet Nam, he was in the Army for 4 years.
