Elizabeth Adzigian

Elizabeth Gallup Adzigian, 87, of Grove, Okla., died Saturday at Grove Nursing Center. Born in Housatonic on Dec. 20, 1914, daughter of Atwood and Maude Snyder Gallup, she graduated from the former Searles High School. She moved to Lexington in 1941 when her husband, John Adzigian, was hired as vice principal of the high school there. They retired to Lady Lake, Fla. Prior to her marriage, Mrs. Adzigian had been employed as executive secretary to the president of Rising Paper Co. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star. Besides her husband of 62 years, she leaves two sons, David Adzigian of Grove, with whom she and her husband had resided for three years, and Donald Adzigian of South Attleboro; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
