Frank Pniak

Frank Pniak, 85, of 30 Greylock Ave. died yesterday morning at Craneville Place in Dalton. Born in New Bedford on June 17, 1916, son of John and Louise Pasterzyk Pniak, he moved to Adams as a child and attended schools there. Mr. Pniak was employed in the distribution transformer department at GE in Pittsfield for many years. He retired 20 years ago. He was a member of the GE Quarter Century and Pensioners clubs. He leaves two sisters, Bertha Anlauf of Adams and Celia Bugbee of Casselberry, Fla. The funeral will be Monday at 1 from AUGE-PACIOREK-SIMMONS FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams. The Rev. John C. Chwalek, pastor of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Adams, will officiate. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams. Calling hours will be Monday from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the funeral service.
