Phyllis Nadelmann

Phyllis Nadelmann, 91, of 88 Notch Hill Road, North Branford, Conn., died Sunday. She was the mother of Stephanie Beling of Richmond. Born Sept. 14, 1910, in Brooklyn, N.Y., daughter of Morris and Tillie Silverman, she attended Pratt School of Design. Mrs. Nadelmann was a self-employed interior designer and past president of the New York chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers, retiring in 1985. Her interests included antiques, art, music and dance. She married her first husband, Herbert Grinnell, on Aug. 6, 1932. He died Dec. 23, 1975. She married Solomon Nadelmann on May 7, 1977. Besides her daughter and her husband, she leaves a son, Roger Grinnell of Pound Ridge, N.Y., and three grandchildren.
