Prudence R. DiGrigoli, 88, of 11 Robert St. died yesterday at home. Born in Hinsdale on Sept. 25, 1913, daughter of Ignatius and Maria Cencia Panetti, she moved to Pittsfield as a child with her parents and attended local schools. She moved to Lee in 1938. A homemaker, she was a communicant of St. Mary's Church. She enjoyed knitting and yard work. Her husband, Carmelo "Min" DiGrigoli, whom she married Dec. 10, 1932, died Oct. 6, 1987. She leaves a son, Louis DiGrigoli of Lee; two daughters, Mary Lynn DeVarennes and Ann Marie Dobson, both of Lee; two brothers, Alexander Panetti and Angelo Panetti, both of Pittsfield; five sisters, Jenny Gilardi, Viola Rotti, Theresa Garzone and Frances Lucaroni, all of Pittsfield, and Sister Angelina Panetti of the Venerini Sisters in Fitchburg; four grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. The funeral will be Thursday at 9:15 from KELLY FUNERAL HOME in Lee, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 at St. Mary's Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Visiting hours at the funeral home will be Wednesday from 4 to 7. In lieu of flowers, friends wishing may make donations to Elder Services in care of Kelly Funeral Home.
