Grace M. Fuller

Grace M. Fuller, 76, of 2805 Main St. died Tuesday at Berkshire Medical Center. Born in Hinsdale on Feb. 27, 1924, daughter of Charles and Grace Randall Yakey, she attended Hinsdale and Pittsfield schools. Mrs. Fuller attended the Becket Federated Church and volunteered in many town activities. She also worked at the election polls for 30 years. She was a member of the Becket Senior Center and an honorary member of the Classic Car Club in Inverness, Fla. She enjoyed traveling, crafts and motorcycle riding. Her husband, Francis E. Fuller, whom she married June 4, 1943, died April 26, 1982. She leaves six sons, Donald C. Yakey of Graham, N.C., Jack F. Fuller, Edward H. Fuller, Paul W. Fuller and Francis R. Fuller, all of Charlotte, N.C., and George J. Fuller of Becket; six daughters, Jill M. Lane and Marie F. Mitchell, both of Inverness, Sandra S. Alderman of Lanesboro, Patricia A. Guard of Peoria, Ill., and Judith M. Carpenter and Diane D. Olds, both of Hinsdale; a sister, Shirley M. Kane of Las Vegas; a brother, Carl J. Yakey of Owego, N.Y.; 21 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild. The funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Becket Federated Church. Following cremation, burial will be in the North Becket Cemetery in the spring. Calling hours at BARTLETT-WELLINGTON FUNERAL HOME in Dalton will be on Friday from 3 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Becket Federated Church.
