Bernard H. Levy

Bernard Howard Levy, 69, of Englishtown, N.J., formerly of North Egremont and New York City, died Wednesday at Liberty Manor in Englishtown, where he had resided for several months, after a yearlong battle with cancer. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., on May 15, 1933, son of David and Frances Levy, he graduated from Pace University in New York City with a degree in accounting. He also graduated from Brooklyn College Law School. He was a summer resident of North Egremont for 20 years and resided there full time from 1995 to 2000. Mr. Levy was a self-employed as an accountant and business consultant in New York, Connecticut and Florida until ill health forced him to retire a year ago. He also had taught accounting courses for the adult education program at Pace University. He enjoyed playing golf and watching baseball. He leaves three daughters, Wendy Levy of Oakland, Calif., Debra Camal of Holmdel, N.J., with whom he resided from May 2001 until moving to Liberty Manor, and Jessica Fauci of Stamford, Conn.; a brother, Alan Levy of New York City, and four grandchildren.
