Mark Raymond Riley, 35, of 3 Sprague Place, Albany, N.Y., formerly of Pittsfield, died yesterday at Albany Medical Center after a long illness. Born in Pittsfield on Feb. 9, 1966, son of Raymond P. Riley and the late Shirley A. Christman Riley, he attended local schools and was a 1984 graduate of Pittsfield High School. He had also resided in Cape Cod before moving to Albany five years ago. He collected "I Love Lucy" memorabilia and enjoyed his dogs. Besides his father of Dalton, he leaves two sisters, Holly K. Griffin of Lenox Dale and Robin L. Daoust of Brookline, N.H., and his longtime companion, Martin P. Rayner of Albany, N.Y., with whom he resided. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield, with the Rev. R. Joseph LeVay, pastor of St. Patrick's Church in Hinsdale, officiating. Burial will follow in Pittsfield Cemetery. Calling hours at Dery Funeral Home will be Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his memory may be made to the AIDS Council of Northeastern New York, 88 Fourth Ave., Albany, NY 12202, or in care of the funeral home. He is also survived by four nieces and one nephew, and his beloved dogs, Chelsea and Montgomery.
