MaryAnn Goodreau

MaryAnn Goodreau, 54, of 125 Devonshire Drive died yesterday at Berkshire Medical Center. Born in Pittsfield on March 14, 1946, daughter of Louis N. and Sophie Rogekevich Sicard, she graduated from Pittsfield High School in 1964, and in 1966 graduated from the former St. Luke's School of Nursing as a licensed practical nurse. Mrs. Goodreau worked in pediatrics at St. Luke's Hospital from 1966 to 1971, and later as a per diem nurse for Berkshire Medical Center from 1975 to 1990. She worked for various private practices from 1990 to 1997. A communicant of St. Mary's of the Assumption Church in Cheshire, she was a member of Pittsfield TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly). She leaves her husband, Roger Goodreau, whom she married Nov. 6, 1971; two daughters, Alicia Goodreau of Albany, N.Y., and Morgan Goodreau of Cheshire; a son, Matthew T. Goodreau of Cheshire; a sister, Joyce Wendling of Dalton, and two grandchildren. The funeral service will be held Friday at 9:15 a.m. from DERY FUNERAL HOME-CHESHIRE, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's of the Assumption Church in Cheshire. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Pittsfield. Calling hours at the funeral home in Cheshire will be Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. MaryAnn will be lovingly missed by her grandchildren, John Parisi Jr. and Nicole Melucci; and niece, Tracy Wendling, and many other nieces and nephews.
