Florence Pizzuto

Florence M. Pizzuto, 83, of 351 West St. died yesterday at home. Born in Waterbury, Conn., on Nov. 14, 1917, daughter of Peter and Mary Marino Moffie, she moved to Pittsfield as a child and attended local schools. She graduated from Pittsfield High School in 1925. Mrs. Pizzuto enjoyed reading, watching old movies, Italian cooking and being at home. Her husband, Louis Pizzuto, whom she married July 4, 1936, died Sept. 22, 1991. She leaves two sons, J. Richard Pizzuto and Paul P. Pizzuto, both of Pittsfield; three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held Friday, March 2, at 11 a.m. at Christian Assembly Church, 850 Williams St., Pittsfield, with the Rev. Dean Nowotny officiating. There will be no calling hours. ROCHE FUNERAL HOME in Lenox is in charge of arrangements.
