Richard F. Falcon

Richard F. Falcon, 56, of Briar Drive, Milford, formerly of North Adams, died Monday at Milford-Whitinsville Regional Hospital in Milford. Born in North Adams on Jan. 24, 1947, son of William N. and Emma Mossolani Falcon, he attended local schools and earned his bachelor of science degree in education in 1970 and later his master's degree in education from the former North Adams State College. He resided in Hadley before moving to Milford in 1993. Mr. Falcon was director of the custodial services for Boston University at the time of his death. He had taught for 15 years at Conte Middle School and at Drury High School, where he had coached the varsity football program. He also had been vice principal at Franklin County Technical School in Turners Falls. While a resident in Milford he was the director of custodial services for Boston University. Prior to that he had been the assistant director of the physical plant at Boston University. He was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Milford and a fan of the New England Patriots. He and his wife, the former Geraldine E. Andrews, were married Aug. 25, 1967. Besides his wife, he leaves two sons, Christopher W. Falcon of Milford and Jason A. Falcon of Worcester; a sister, Diane Major of Fort Myers, Fla., and four grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE -- Richard F. Falcon, 56, died Jan. 27, 2003. He also leaves a daughter-in-law, Tracy Falcon of Worcester; four grandchildren, Christopher J., Haley E. and Cameron X. Falcon, all of Boylston, and Ryan J. Falcon of Worcester; brothers-in-law Randy Andrews of North Adams and Michael Major of Fort Myers, Fla., and a sister-in-law, Lucy Nowak of Holden. A brother, William C. Falcon of North Adams, is deceased. The funeral Mass will be Friday, Jan. 31, at 11:30 in St. Mary's Church, 19 Winter St., Milford.
