Jean Perin

Jean Perin, 79, of 2523 Monument Ave., Bennington, Vt., died yesterday at Weston Haddon Convalescent Center in Bennington after a long illness. Born in North Adams on March 1, 1923, daughter of Joseph M. and Mabel E. Reagan Mulcahy, she was a graduate of Drury High School. She attended the Massachusetts College of Art, formerly the Boston School of Art. Mrs. Perin was a homemaker. She enjoyed antiques. She and her husband, Donald Wise Perin Jr., celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Dec. 5. They were married in Columbia, S.C. Besides her husband, she leaves a daughter, Betsy Perin deGorgue of Toms River, N.J.; two sons, William Kirk Perin of Mill Valley, Calif., and Donald Wise Perin III of Hazelton, Pa.; a brother, William Mulcahy of Arkansas, and four grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE -- At the request of Jean Mulcahy Perin, there will be no calling hours or funeral services. Burial will take place in the family plot in Southview Cemetery, North Adams. FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., is in charge of arrangements.
