Catherine Hynes, 95, of Louisville, Ohio, formerly of Adams, died March 6 at Green Meadows Health Care Center in Louisville. Born in North Adams on Sept. 10, 1905, daughter of James and Judith Ann Foley Hynes, she attended schools there. Miss Hynes was employed by the former Arnold Print Works for many years and by the North Adams Transcript in the advertising department for 25 years. She retired in 1972. While in Adams, she was a communicant of the Parish of Notre Dame-St. Thomas'. She leaves a nephew and a niece. The funeral for will be Thursday, March 15, at 9 from TROTTIER-PRINGLE FUNERAL HOME in Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 in St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Adams celebrated by the Rev. Daniel J. Boyle, pastor of the Parish of Notre Dame-St. Thomas Aquinas. Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery in Great Barrington. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Wednesday from 4 to 6. She leaves a nephew, Jerome Dunne of Washington, and a niece, Judith Gasson of the state of Florida.
