Andrea Hammond

Andrea Jane Hammond, 61, of San Jose, Calif., formerly of Lanesboro, died March 5 at home. Born in Westfield on June 10, 1939, daughter of Elizabeth Cain Trimels and the late Albert A. Trimels, she graduated from the former Dalton High School in 1957 and from the former Berkshire Business College in Pittsfield. She lived in Pittsfield, Dalton and Lanesboro before moving to California 40 years ago. Mrs. Hammond was employed as a secretary by General Electric Co. in Pittsfield as a young woman and also worked as a secretary in California. Besides her mother of Pittsfield, she leaves two sons, Thomas J. Hammond Jr. of Los Gatos, Calif., and Jeffrey L. Hammond of Santa Clara, Calif., and a brother, Albert A. Trimels Jr. of Chandler, Ariz.
