Isabelle Gertrude Paquette Lively

Isabelle Gertrude Paquette Lively, 85, of 254 Walker St., died yesterday at North Adams Commons, where she had been admitted Jan. 28, 2002. Born in North Adams on Oct. 10, 1917, daughter of Albert and Delia Bourdon Paquette, she was a lifelong resident and attended local schools. She was employed for 40 years as an assembler at the former Sprague Electric Co., retiring in 1977. She was a communicant of Notre Dame du Sacre Coeur Church, and enjoyed canning and cooking. Her husband, Arman M. Lively, whom she married Sept. 10, 1945, died Feb. 1. She leaves two sons, Ronald A. Lively, with whom she made her home, and Vincent M. Lively, both of North Adams, and a sister, Lorraine Groves of Adams. FUNERAL NOTICE -- Funeral services for Isabelle G. Lively will be held at 9 Tuesday, March 18, 2003, from the AUGÉ-SAN SOUCIE-SIMMONS FUNERAL HOME, North Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 in Our Lady of Mercy Shrine, 1290 Massachusetts Ave., North Adams. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home will be from 4 to 7 Monday. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in her memory be made to either Notre Dame Church or Elder Services of Berkshire County, through the funeral home, 46 North Church St., North Adams, MA 01247. Mrs. Lively is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was predeceased by three brothers, Alcide Paquette, Raymond Paquette and Valmore Paquette, and two sisters, Constance Holmes and Sr. Enne Evelyn, Sisters of St. Anne.
