Dorothy H. Vose

Dorothy Helen Vose, 95, a resident of the Issaquah Care Center, Issaquah, Wash., formerly of Pittsfield, Dalton and Windsor, died Monday at Overlake Hospital in Bellevue, Wash. Born in Walpole on March 7, 1906, daughter of Robert and Helen Carr Fisher, she graduated in 1924 from Pittsfield High School, where she was valedictorian of her class. She had resided in Dalton, Windsor and Pittsfield before moving to Washington in 1992. She was employed as a secretary for the Red Cross office in Pittsfield. Mrs. Vose was a member of Dalton First Congregational Church and enjoyed sketching and cataloguing flowers in the Berkshire Hills. Her husband, O.W. "Bud" Vose, whom she married in 1931, died in December 1966. She leaves a daughter, Caroline Parron of Mesa, Ariz.; a son, George Vose of Renton; seven grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Barbara Vose, who died in 1985.
