Jeanne File Warsing, 76, of Stockbridge Road, formerly of St. Petersburg, Fla., died yesterday at Providence Nursing Home following a long illness. Born in Philadelphia on Oct. 28, 1926, daughter of Charles and Florence Kelly Nelson, she attended schools there and Beaver University in Jenkinstown, Pa. She had resided in St. Petersburg, Fla., until moving to Great Barrington in July 2000 to be cared for by her family. She enjoyed traveling, gardening and reading. She also played with a bridge club. She leaves two daughters, Dianne Lopez of Great Barrington, with whom she resided, and Karen Pearson of Acworth, Ga., and four grandsons. She also leaves her former husband, George Allen File of Louden, Tenn. FUNERAL NOTICE -- Jeanne File Warsing went to the Lord on Wednesday morning, April 9, 2003. She leaves her four grandsons, Matthew, Justin, Brandon and Corey, and her son-in-law, Eric Pearson. She was predeceased by another son-in-law, Douglas C. Lopez, in 1987.
