William D. Frommer, 49, of 185 Blue Heron Drive, Portsmouth, N.H., died Thursday, June 19, at the Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine, as the result of an accident on a construction project. His mother, Marion Frommer, lives in Lenox. Born in Jersey City, N.J., on Jan. 6, 1954, he was the son of Marion Porter Frommer and the late William E. Frommer. He was in the Navy, retiring in 1993 after 20 years of service. He had been a resident of Portsmouth since 1997. Besides his mother of Lenox, he leaves his wife of 29 years, Deborah McCue Frommer; three sons, Chris Frommer and Jeff Frommer, both of Portsmouth, and Eric Frommer of Orlando, Fla.; a sister, Diane Romeo of Lenox, and two grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE -- William D. Frommer, 49, of 185 Blue Heron Drive, Portsmouth, N.H., died June 19, 2003. Visiting hours will be at the FARRELL FUNERAL HOME, 684 State St., Portsmouth, N.H., on Monday from 5 to 8. Funeral services will be private. Burial will be in the family plot in St. Annâ€™s Cemetery in Lenox.
