Nancy Ann Daniels, 63
FLORIDA, Mass. — Nancy Ann Daniels, 63, of 28 North County Road died Sunday, June 22, 2003, at Cobleskill (N.Y.) Hospital, where she was taken shortly after being stricken with an apparent heart attack while visiting Howe Caverns in Cobleskill.
Born in North Adams on April 15, 1940, daughter of George T. and Mary H. Williams Sunn, she attended schools there, including Drury High School. She had been a resident of Florida for 37 years.
Mrs. Daniels was employed in the housekeeping department at North Adams Regional Hospital for 15 years, retiring in 2000.
She was a member of Florida Baptist Church, Florida Senior Citizens and the Northern Berkshire YMCA in North Adams, where she attended aerobics classes. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and had recently learned to use a computer.
She and her husband, Millard A. Daniels, were married May 21, 1960.
Besides her husband, she leaves a son, Millard C. Daniels of Florida; four daughters, Corina Palmer and June Montgomery, both of North Adams, Lisa Martin of Williamstown and Michelle Crowningshield of Heath; two brothers, Robert Sunn of Cheshire and Michael Sunn of North Adams; a sister, Charlotte Bearse of Mantowic, Wis., nine grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
FUNERAL NOTICE — Services for Mrs. Daniels will be conducted Thursday, June 26, at 10 at Florida Baptist Church by the Rev. Irving Millette, pastor.
Burial will follow in Florida Church Cemetery. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 5 to 8 at AUGE-SAN SOUCIE-SIMMONS FUNERAL HOME, North Adams. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to the Northern Berkshire YMCA through the funeral home, 46 North Church St., North Adams, MA 01247.
