Jeannette Ruth Rarick-Huerta

Jeannette Ruth Rarick-Huerta, 70, of 23 Angeli St. died Tuesday at home. Born in Adams on Sept. 16, 1932, daughter of Armond and Helen Gardner Bombardier, she attended schools there. She was last employed by the former C.B. Sport Co. in North Adams. She had also worked at the former Sprague Electric and Hunter Outdoor Products companies, both in North Adams, and the former Highcroft School in Williamstown. She was a communicant of St. Francisâ€™ Church. She enjoyed playing bingo at the Sons of Italy and the Notre Dame churches in Adams and North Adams. She and her husband, JosÃ© Michael Huerta, were married June 10, 1972, in North Adams. Besides her husband, she leaves two daughters, Cheryl Chalifoux of Stephentown, N.Y., and Cynthia Vilayvanh of North Adams; seven sons, Theodore Bombardier of Lenox Dale, Robert Napreva of Penn Yan, N.Y., David Rarick and Wayne Rarick, both of North Adams, Peter Rarick of Modesto, Calif., and James Rarick of Orlando, Fla.; a brother, Raymond Bombardier of North Adams; 16 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Bruce Rarick, who died in 1995. FUNERAL NOTICE -- Services for Jeannette Ruth (Bombardier) Rarick-Huerta will take place Saturday at 8:15 at the FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, West Chapels, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 9 at St. Francis of Assisi Church. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 at the funeral home, 521 West Main St., North Adams, MA 01247. Memorial donations are suggested through the funeral home. She was survived by an aunt, Marion Pierce, and nine stepchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, Norman â€œSonnyâ€ Bombardier.
