Mario Spadaccini

Mario Spadaccini, 82, of East Canaan died March 11 at Valerie Manor in Torrington. Born in Housatonic, Mass., on Nov. 25, 1918, he was the son of Morris and Maria Veia Spadaccini. Mr. Spadaccini was employed by several area construction firms. He was a member of the Connecticut Laborers Union. His wife, the former Jean Morris, is deceased. He leaves two sons, Jimmy Spadaccini of Zephyrhills, Fla., and Mike Spadaccini of Canaan, Conn.; a daughter, Catherine Knott of Zephyrhills; a brother, Bruno Spadaccini of Canaan; two sisters, Erma Malnati of Sheffield and Mary Zucco of Great Barrington; seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
