Dolores M. Housman

Dolores M. Housman, 64, of 63A Fourth St., Turners Falls, formerly of North Adams, died Friday at Franklin Medical Center in Greenfield. Born in North Adams on Dec. 2, 1938, daughter of Henry and Marguerite Lanoue DeMarsico, she attended Drury High School. A homemaker, Mrs. Houseman was a foster grandparent at Hillcrest Elementary School in Turn-ers Falls and owned and operated a day care center in Gill. Before that she was a clinical aide at the Adams Rest Home in Adams and sang on a Saturday morning radio talk show called "Bill and the Gang." She enjoyed crocheting, scrapbooking, knitting, keyboard playing, singing and reading. She leaves two sons, William R. Marco Jr. of Dalton and John J. Marco of Hartford, Iowa; two daughters, Pamela Porter of Pittsfield and Tracy Willard of Turners Falls; a brother, Richard DeMarsico of North Adams; seven grandchildren; a great-grandson, and her former husband, William R. Marco Sr. of Dalton. A daughter, Sandy Marco, died Jan. 4, 1973. FUNERAL NOTICE -- Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 11 at KOSTANSKI FUNERAL HOME, 1 Kostanski Square, Turners Falls. Burial will be at 1:30 in South View Cemetery, North Adams. Calling hours will be held tomorrow from 9:30 until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Cerebral Palsy and Development Services, 507 Union St., West Springfield, MA 01089. Mrs. Housman leaves her grandchildren, Samantha and Thomas Willard of Turners Falls, Jamie Greene of South Carolina, Jennifer Greene and Kate Porter of Pittsfield, John Marco Jr. of Massachusetts, Victoria Marco of Iowa; a great-grandson, Dakota Greene of Pittsfield; an aunt, Pauline Trottier of North Adams, and nieces, nephews and cousins.
