Anne W. Dawson

Anne W. Dawson, 84, of 195 Elberon Ave. died Wednesday at Berkshire Medical Center. Born in Pittsfield on May 19, 1916, daughter of Peter and Mary Woloshyn Yarmey, she attended local schools and was a graduate of Pittsfield High School. Mrs. Dawson was employed as a clerk by GE for 35 years, retiring in 1976. She was a member of the GE Quarter Century and Pensioners clubs. Her husband, Ralph A. Dawson, died March 15, 1970. She leaves a son, Wayne R. Dawson of Hinsdale; two sisters, Helen Donaldson of Pittsfield and Mary Kendall of Dalton; four granddaughters, and eight great-grandchildren. Private services and burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Jewish Community Center in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
