Alice May Morin, 79
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Alice May Morin, 79, of 15 Palmer Ave. died Monday, Dec. 29, 2003, at North Adams Regional Hospital, where she had been admitted earlier in the day.
Born in Cheshire on April 12, 1924, daughter of Henry and Sara Harrington Heisler, she attended schools there.
Mrs. Morin was employed by the former Sprague Electric Co., retiring in 1980. Before that, she had been employed for 10 years by the former Hunter Outdoor Products and the former Wall-Streeter Shoe Co.
She was a communicant of Notre Dame and St. Francis' churches and a member of the Sprague Retirees.
Her husband, Aime E. Morin, whom she married Feb. 7, 1942, died Aug. 13, 1979.
She leaves a son, Robert E. Morin of North Adams; two grandchildren, Trinity Spencer and Jayson Morin, both of North Adams; three great-grandchildren, Emi-Jean Spencer, Hannah Mae Morin and Raechel Morin, all of North Adams; a niece, Marilyn Morin Means of Stephentown, N.Y.; and a grandnephew, Scott Roberts, and grandniece, Tracy Myers, both of Stephentown.
Her brothers Reginald and Harold Heisler predeceased her.
FUNERAL NOTICE — The funeral for Mrs. Morin will be Dec. 31 at 1:15 at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., North Adams. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery, North Adams.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be today, Dec. 30, from 4 to 7. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested for the SPCA through the funeral home.
