Violet B. Donnelly, 75
NORTH ADAMS, Mass.— Violet Bernice Donnelly, 75, of 63 Montgomery St. died Monday, Jan. 26, 2004, at North Adams Regional Hospital after being stricken earlier at home.
Born in North Adams on May 29, 1928, daughter of Earl F. and Frances O. Hall Davis, she was a graduate of Drury High School.
Mrs. Donnelly had been employed as a chambermaid at Northside Motel in Williamstown.
She was a communicant of St. Francis' Church and enjoyed playing bingo.
Her husband, Robert J. Donnelly, died in 1960.
She leaves a son, Robert J. Donnelly II and his wife, Donna, of North Adams; a sister, Ruth Bernardo of North Adams; two grandchildren, Robert J. Donnelly III and Bobbie Jo Donnelly, and great-granddaughter, Tyra Donnelly.
She was predeceased by a sister, Gladys Dube, and three brothers, Ralph Davis, Earl Davis and Clyde Davis.
FUNERAL NOTICE — Services for Violet B. Davis Donnelly will take place Thursday at 1:30 at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, West Chapels, 521 West Main St.
Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday from 11:30 to 1:30 at the funeral home. Donations in her memory are suggested through the funeral home.
