MRS. HILDEGARDE BRUCK 95 of Sweetwood Continuing Care Community, 1611 Cold Spring Road, Williamstown, MA, died Friday December 8, 200O at the Sweet Brook Health Care Center in Williamstown,MA. She was born in Neustadt Oberschlesien, Germany on December 12, 1904. A daughter of the late Franz Montag and Luise (Schurbert) Montag. She attended schools and Universities in Germany and received a degree in chemistry. She was employed in Germany as a chemist. She moved to the United States in the late 1940â€™s after WWII, settling in New York City and later in Washington D.C. She was employed for many years for the West Chemical Company in the state of New Jersey as a chemist. She moved to Williamstown, MA in 1988. Survivors include several cousins in Germany. At Mrs. Hidegarde Bruckâ€™s request, there will be no funeral service or calling hours. Burial will take place at the convenience of the family. The Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main St., North Adams, MA are in charge of the arrangements.
