Mrs. Norma Margaret (Luscia) Roy, 89, formerly of 511 Barbour St., North Adams, MA, died Tuesday, April 3, 2001 at the Sweet Brook Health Care Center in Williamstown, MA. She had resided there since September 22, 1996. She was born in Athol, MA on November 16, 1911, a daughter of the late John Luscia and Delia (Scovine) Luscia. She moved to North Adams, MA with her famiiy at a young age and completed her education in the North Adams Schools. She graduated from Drury High School in North Adams, MA with the class of 1929. She was a communicant of St. Anthony of Padua Church, North Adams, MA. Her husband, Lucien George Roy whom, she married August 14,1948 in Notre Dame du Sacre Couer Church in North Adams, MA, died on January 6, 1988. Survivors include : (1) Son: Alan John Roy of Sewickley,PA (1) Sister: Mrs. Viola Noel of North Adams, MA several nieces,nephews,grandnieces and grandnephews. She was predeceased by (4)Brothers: Joseph J. Luscia died October 3,1977,Edward Luscia died May 26, 1953,Emest A. Luscia died August 23,1992 and Frank G. Luscia. Funeral Services will take place Saturday morning at 9:45 A.M. at the Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals,CENTRAL CHAPELS,74 Marshall St. North Adams, MA, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at l0:30 A.M. at St. Anthony of Padua Church,North Adams, MA, with the Rev. Daniel J. Oâ€™Hear, Pastor as the celebrant. Burial will follow in the family plot in Southview Cemetery, North Adams, MA. Calling Hours at the Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, CENTRAL CHAPELS,74 Marshall St. North Adams, MA are Friday from 2-4 P.M. and 7-9 P.M. In Lieu of flowers memorial donations are suggested for the American Heart Assoc through the funeral home.
