Linda K. Mann

Linda K. Mann, 45, of 187 Church St. died after a long illness Wednesday morning at North Adams Regional Hospital, where she had been admitted Saturday. Born in Lima, Ohio, on Dec. 12, 1958, daughter of Evelyn Moorman King of Mechanicsville, Va., and the late William W. King, she moved to Richmond, Va., at an early age and attended schools there. She graduated from Highland Springs High School with the class of 1977. Ms. Mann was first employed by Bell Telephone Co. in Richmond. She later worked for the Spencer Printing Co. in Richmond for 16 years. She moved to North Adams in 1999. She was a member of New Bridge Baptist Church in Richmond. She enjoyed computers. Besides her mother, she leaves a son, Thomas "Buddy" Mann Jr. of Mechanicsville; two sisters, Virginia Madison of Richmond and Cathy Linebrink of Charlottesville, Va., and her companion, William Arthur Dewey of North Adams, with whom she made her home. FUNERAL NOTICE -- Services for Linda K. (King) Mann will be private. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Donations may be made in her memory to FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, CENTRAL CHAPELS, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, MA 01247, which is in charge of arrangements.
