Celia Ostrobinski, 79
ADAMS, Mass. — Celia Ostrobinski, 79, of 1 Weber St. died Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2004, at home.
Born in Adams on Jan. 22, 1925, daughter of John and Maria Ciula Nowak, she attended schools there.
A homemaker, Mrs. Ostrobinski had worked for several years at the former Berkshire Fine Spinning Associates before her marriage.
She was a communicant of St. Stanislaus' Church, and enjoyed gardening and growing flowers.
She and her husband, Theodore Ostrobinski, had celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary Nov. 9.
Besides her husband, she leaves two sons, Daniel Ostrobinski and Paul Ostrobinski, both of Adams; a grandson, Mark Ostrobinski of Adams, and nieces and nephews.
Five sisters, Nellie Adamczyk, Anna Dydynchuk, Jennie Dow, Helen Amato and Stephanie Leja, and two brothers, Joseph and Stephen Nowak, are deceased.
FUNERAL NOTICE — The funeral for Celia Ostrobinski will be Saturday, Feb. 28, at 9 from Trottier-Pringle Funeral Home, 6 Summer St., Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 in St. Stanislaus' Church celebrated by the Rev. Jed Sumampong, CP.
Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus' Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Friday, Feb. 27, from 6 to 8. Donations in her memory may be made to St. Stanislaus' School through the funeral home.
