Gail Lynn White

Gail Lynn White, 50, of 45 Spring St. died Thursday at North Adams Regional Hospital. Born in Pittsfield on Sept. 13, 1953, daughter of Franklin and Florence Cooke Hutchinson, she attended Lenox public schools and was a 1971 graduate of Lenox Memorial High School. She was a homemaker. While a resident of Lenox, Mrs. White was a member of St. Helena's Chapel. She and her husband, Lawrence Michael White, whom she married at St. Helena's on Aug. 8, 1971, had lived in Bennington, Vt., many years and had resided in North Adams for three years. Mr. White died Feb. 5, 2004. She leaves her two sons, Eric M. White of Bennington and Gabriel M. White of Walden, N.Y.; two brothers, Dwaine S. Hutchinson of Burleson, Texas, and Gary S. Hutchinson of Humble, Texas, and three grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE -- A service of remembrance celebrating the lives of Gail Lynn White, who died Feb. 27, 2004, and her husband Lawrence Michael White, who died Feb. 5 of this year will be conducted this spring at St. Helena's Chapel in Lenox at a date and time to be announced. Burial will follow in Park Lawn Cemetery in Bennington. Mrs. White is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Tyler, Alexandra and Samantha White, and her daughters-in-law, Maria White of Bennington and Sara White of Walden. She will be remembered as a dedicated, loving mother and grandmother who always gave to those in need. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make donations in her memory to either the Salvation Army or the American Red Cross, both in care of the ROCHE FUNERAL HOME, 120 Main St., Lenox, MA 01240.
