Alfred Richard Kenyon

Alfred Richard Kenyon, 77, of 3B Village East died Saturday at North Adams Regional Hospital. Born in North Adams on May 31, 1926, son of Richard and Viola Charron Kenyon, he attended schools there. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Mr. Kenyon had been employed by the former Sprague Electric Co., the former Greylock and Hoosac Cotton mills, and the former Wall-Streeter Shoe Co. He retired in 1971. He was a longtime member of Williamstown Community Bible Church. His wife, the former Alice M. Bolner, whom he married March 15, 1944, at First Baptist Church, died Aug. 12, 1992. He leaves two sons, James Kenyon of North Adams and Bruce Kenyon of West Union, S.C.; two sisters, Esther Cannizzo of Norton and Louise Lincoln of Clifton Park, N.Y.; three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter, Gloria Kenyon. FUNERAL NOTICE -- Services for Alfred R. Kenyon will be conducted Wednesday at 9:30 at Williamstown Community Bible Church by the Rev. Douglas Duncan, pastor. Burial will be in Southview Cemetery. Calling hours at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME for FUNERALS, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., will be tomorrow from 6 to 8. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested for Williamstown Community Bible Church through the funeral home. He was predeceased by a daughter, Gloria Kenyon, and by two brothers and a sister, Ernest and Arthur Kenyon and Nora Kenyon. Survivors include three grandchildren, Michael, Daniel and Leah Kenyon.
