Julia Elizabeth Filip

Julia Elizabeth Filip, 90, of 14 Hoosac St. died yesterday at Williamstown Commons. Born in Adams on Sept. 25, 1913, daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth Kluska Filip, she graduated from the former Adams High School. Miss Filip was employed as a clerk in the office of the former Arnold Print Works until retiring 30 years ago. She was a communicant of St. Stanislaus' Church. She leaves two nieces and a cousin. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Julia Elizabeth Filip, who died March 22, 2004, will be tomorrow, March 24, at 9:30 from AUGE-PACIOREK-SIMMONS FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 in St. Stanislaus' Church by the Rev. Daniel J. Boyle, pastor of the Parishes of Notre Dame-St. Thomas and St. Stanislaus. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 8:30 to 9:30 at the funeral home. Survivors include two nieces, Ilene Maluda and Irene Wojtkowski, both of Pittsfield; a cousin, the Rev. Alexander Boruta of Prescott, Mich.; a close and dear friend, Emilia Blasik of Poland, formerly of Adams, and several grandnieces and grandnephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Anthony Filip and John Filip, and four sisters, Jessie Blasik, Sophie Zajchowski, Bertha Marszalek and Sister Mary Cantalicia, CSSF. Memorial donations may be made to St. Stanislaus' School or to the Williamstown Commons Patient Activities fund through the funeral home.
