Ann Stella Luczynski

Ann Stella Luczynski, 89, of 341 Heathen Hill Road, Franklin, N.Y., formerly of North Adams, died yesterday at Ashtabula (Ohio) Medical Center. Born in Reading, Pa., on Jan. 31, 1915, daughter of John and Marianna Wojtowicz Daniels, her family moved to North Adams, where she graduated from the former St. Joseph's High School. She also completed courses in business. She moved to Staten Island, N.Y., in 1943 and to Franklin about 10 years ago. Mrs. Luczynski was employed for more than 20 years in the state attorney general's office in New York City, retiring in 1980. While in North Adams, she was a communicant of St. Francis' Church. In Staten Island, she was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Sidney and a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas. Her husband, Edward W. Luczynski, whom she married in 1943, died Aug. 3, 1981. She leaves her brother-in-law and caregiver, Thomas A. Luczynski of Madison, Ohio. A son, Edward W. Luczynski, died May 7, 2000. FUNERAL NOTICE -- Services for Ann Luczynski will be Wednesday, March 24, 2004, at 8:15 from FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 9 at St. Francis of Assisi Church. Burial will be in Southview Cemetery. Calling hours will be tomorrow, March 23, from 4 to 7 at the funeral home. Her son, Edward W. Luczynski, died May 7, 2000. She also was predeceased by two sisters, Helen M. Romaniak and Mary Comalli, and by two brothers, Bert Daniels and Walter J. Daniels. Survivors include her caregiver and brother-in-law, Thomas A. Luczynski of Madison, Ohio; three sisters-in-law, Bernice Isenhart of Pittsfield, Blanche Daniels of Adams and Edna Michalski of Easthampton, and nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
