Thomas Littlefair

Thomas Littlefair, 77, of 151 Christian Hill Road died Wednesday at Fairview Hospital. Born in Thornaby Stockton-On-Tees, England, on Sept. 26, 1926, son of Thomas and Eliza Jane Sharpe Littlefair, he was educated there. He moved to Toronto in 1953, to West Caldwell, N.J., in 1960, and to Great Barrington in 2001. He had been employed as an electrician for Romano Electric Co. in West Caldwell for 31 years, retiring in 1992. While in Toronto, he was a champion dart player in the 1950s. While in West Caldwell, he founded the West Caldwell Darts Association. He leaves his wife, the former Nancy Bates, of White Salmon, Wash.; a daughter, Christine Ann Dolby of Murrells Inlet, S.C.; a son, Peter Thomas Littlefair of Carson, Wash., and three grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE -- Services for Thomas Littlefair, who died Wednesday, April 7, 2004, will be Saturday, April 10, at 6 p.m. at the BIRCHES-ROY FUNERAL HOME with the Rev. Alan C. Macy officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 4 to 6, prior to the funeral services. Expressions of sympathy in Thomas' memory may be made to the American Cancer Society c/o the funeral home, 33 South St., Great Barrington, MA 01230. He also leaves his grandchildren, Sharon and Brian Dolby and Carey Long.
