Teresa Veronica DePari

Teresa Veronica DePari, 85, formerly of 125 Protection Ave., died yesterday at Sweet Brook Care Centers in Williamstown after a long illness. Born in North Adams on July 7, 1918, daughter of Francesco and Lucy Scavo DePari, she was educated in North Adams schools, including Drury High School. Miss DePari was employed by Williams College, retiring in 1985. Previously, she had worked at Molly's Bakery, the former Sprague Electric Co. and the former Gale Shoe Co. She was a lifelong communicant of St. Anthony's Church and a member of its former Children of Mary Society. She also was a member of the Sons of Italy and a member and past president of the Italian Girls Club. She leaves three sisters, Mary Dailey and Catherine "Kay" Crockwell, both of North Adams, and Norma Napolitan of West Springfield. FUNERAL NOTICE -- Funeral services for Miss Teresa DePari, who died April 11, 2004, will be Tuesday, April 13, at 10:30 at St. Anthony's Church, with the Rev. Daniel O'Hear, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery. Calling hours at FLYNN & DAGNOLI HOME FOR FUNERALS, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., will be tomorrow, April 13, from 9 to 10. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested for St. Anthony's Church or any charity through the funeral home. Miss DePari was predeceased by two sisters, Rita Quinton on Nov. 3, 2001, and Florence DePari, in infancy.
