Ginger Rogers

Ginger Rogers, 81, of Melbourne, Fla., formerly of Pittsfield, died April 8 at Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne. Born in Pittsfield on Oct. 17, 1919, daughter of Ralph and Rose Teti Pivero, formerly Puia, she attended local schools. Mrs. Rogers owned the former Berkshire Health Club. She became a baptized Jehovah's Witness in October 1973. She leaves a daughter, Karen Laraway of Melbourne; four grandchildren, and two great-granddaughters. Services will be held at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses, 235 Dalton Division Road, Pittsfield, on Saturday, April 21, at 2. Donations may be made to Kingdom Hall. Mrs. Rogers also leaves a granddaughter, Shannan DeBord; three grandsons, Justin, Joshua and Ryan Elmasian; and two great-granddaughters, Deja Jade and Sierra Nicole.
