Marie A. Shultis

Marie A. Shultis, 94, died Saturday at Timberlyn Heights Nursing Home and Alzheimer's Center in Great Barrington. Born in Lee on June 29, 1906, daughter of Evi and Alma Har-rington Shultis, she was a 1923 graduate of Lee High School. She moved to Otis in 1998 and recently to Great Barrington. Mrs. Shultis was employed by the former New England Telephone & Telegraph Co. as a telephone operator in Lee and in Pittsfield for 43 1/2 years, retiring in 1966. She leaves a nephew, John F. Shultis of New Jersey. A graveside service for Marie A. Shultis will be held Wednesday at 11:30 at Fairmount Cemetery in Lee, with the Rev. Canon Noel A. Bailey, rector of St. George's Episcopal Church in Lee, officiating. KELLY FUNERAL HOME is in charge of arrangements.
