Tyler J. Roberts

Jay Roberts, 20, of 129 Gibbs Road died Thursday in Blandford. Born in Pittsfield on Oct. 11, 1980, son of David and Sandy Moyer Roberts, he received his GED in Great Barrington. Mr. Roberts developed an interest in music at a very young age and went on to become a self-employed lighting and sound technician. His interests included fishing, antiques and Indian artifacts. Besides his father, of Otis, and his mother, of Pearland, Texas, he leaves a brother, Travis J. Roberts of Denver; and a sister, Tracy Dugger of Houston. Tyler Jay Roberts also leaves his brother-in-law Duke Dugger. He was a creative and promising young man with many talents. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. A memorial service will be held Saturday at 7 p.m. at Otis Congregational Church. To honor Tyler's memory, in lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Otis Recreation Center in care of Ray White, P.O. Box 237, Otis, MA 01253.
