James LaFleche Jr.

James E. LaFleche Jr., 52, of 717 Waxwing Court, Kissimmee, Fla., died Tuesday, April 3, of a heart attack. He previously had been a resident of Cheshire for 10 years. Born in Adams on Jan. 7, 1949, son of James E. LaFleche Sr. and Bernadette Martin LaFleche, he was a graduate of McCann Technical School in North Adams. He moved to Florida in 1988. An electrician by trade, he was employed at Westgate Lakes Resort since 1989. While in Berkshire County, he owned and operated the Sugar and Spice Bakery in the Allendale Underground. He enjoyed baking, golf and family. He leaves his wife, Cynthia; two daughters, Carrie Hoctor of St. Mary's, Ga., and Janell LaFleche of Lanesboro; a brother, Richard LaFleche of Pittsfield, and three grandchildren.
