Theresa Doris Little Zimny, 77, of 17 Pleasant Street died yesterday at the home of her daughter, Patricia A. Studley, 490 Savoy Road, Cheshire, following a long illness. Born in Adams on Dec. 2, 1926, daughter of Leon Biron and Alma Levesque Biron, she was educated there. Primarily, a homemaker, she had been employed in the textile industry of Adams in her younger years. She was a communicant of Notre Dame Church and enjoyed gardening and fishing. Her first husband, Nelson D. Little, whom she married Oct. 6, 1945, in Notre Dame Church, died Oct. 3, 1983. She and her husband, Francis "Frank" Zimny, were married Sept. 7, 1984. Besides her husband and daughter, she leaves five other daughters, Janice M. Zawacki and Jeanne E. Gomeau, both of Adams, Eva J. Bonney of Becket, Sandra L. Little of New York state and Theresa M. Rennie of Pittsfield; three sons, Thomas L. Little of St. Petersburg, Fla., Robert A. Little of Long Beach, Calif., and Peter C. Little of Pittsfield; two sisters, Lorraine Gilley of Indiana and Rita Caccamo of St. Petersburg, Fla.; a brother, Raymond Biron of Adams, 19 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE -- Funeral services for Theresa Little Zimny are private. There will be no calling hours. The omission of flowers is requested. Any donations in her memory are suggested for Adams Ambulance Service or any charity of the donor's choice through the FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, Mass. 01247. Two sisters and three brothers are deceased, Eileen King, Edna Biron, and Theodore, Bernard, and Clarence Biron. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
