Paula J. Raymond, 49

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. - Paula Jean Raymond, 49, of 26 Canedy Lane died Tuesday, June 1, 2004, at home. Born in North Adams on Aug. 23, 1954, daughter of Alfred and Helen Rougeau Bourdon of North Adams, she was a 1972 graduate of the former St. Joseph's High School in North Adams. Ms. Raymond was employed as the manager of Frank R. Stiles Post 125 American Legion. Earlier, she worked for several years as a vocational job placement instructor for BFAIR in and then was a shipping manager for Storey Publishing Co. She enjoyed exercising and working out, shopping with family and friends, biking and reading. Her true loves were her family and the safety and care of all animals. Besides her parents, she leaves two daughters, Lesley Benedetti of Williamstown and Ashley Raymond of North Adams; two sisters, Hope Bourdon and Martha Bourdon, both of North Adams; two brothers, Keith Bourdon of Taunton and Brian Bourdon of North Adams. She also leaves her longtime companion, Michael Davine of North Adams, and nieces, nephews and cousins. FUNERAL NOTICE - Services for Ms. Raymond will take place Friday at 8:15 at the FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME for FUNERALS, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 9:00 at St. Anthony of Padua Church, with the Rev. Daniel O'Hear, pastor, as the celebrant. Burial will take place at a late date in the family plot in Southview Cemetery. Calling hours will be today, Thursday, from 5 to 8 at the funeral home. Memorial Donations are suggested for the Berkshire County Humane Society through the funeral home.
