Regina Shade

Regina Shade, 82, of 263 Becket Road died Wednesday at Providence Care Center in Lenox, where she had resided since May. Born in Pittsfield on Oct. 30, 1921, daughter of Elbie and Cora Trurner Westover, she was a 1939 graduate of Pittsfield High School. Mrs. Shade was a homemaker. She was a member of the Pilgrim Memorial Church. Her husband, William W. Shade, whom she married Sept. 12, 1943, died April 8, 1980. She leaves a son, Robert W. Shade of Pittsfield; a sister, Beverly Coti of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and three grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE -- Services for Regina Shade will be private and at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. Burial will be in Pittsfield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the American Cancer Society in care of the WELLINGTON FUNERAL HOME, 220 East St., Pittsfield, MA 01201. She leaves two grandsons, Kyle and Chad Shade, and a granddaughter, Natasha Shade, all of Pittsfield.
