Marion "Betty" Farina

Marion "Betty" Farina, 80, of Brown Memorial Court died Saturday at home. Born in Natalie, Pa., on Feb. 9, 1924, daughter of Tylman and Eva Rudy Cohoon, she was a 1941 graduate of Mount Carmel High School in Locust Gap, Pa. She moved to Lee in the 1940s and was employed by the former Clark Aiken Co. from 1955 to 1978. Mrs. Farina was a communicant of St. Mary's Church. Her husband, Henry B. Farina, whom she married Jan. 22, 1949, died Nov. 3, 1997. She leaves a brother, Jerry H. Cohoon of Strong, Pa., and two sisters, Dorothy Matsko of Mount Carmel, Pa., and Evelyn Shutt of Leominster, Pa. FUNERAL NOTICE -- A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Marion "Betty" Farina will be celebrated Thursday, June 24, at 10 at St. Mary's Church in Lee. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. There will be no visiting hours. KELLY FUNERAL HOME is in charge of arrangements. She was predeceased by two brothers, John and Lloyd Cohoon, and a sister, Mae Kramer.
