Regina G. Freehan

Regina G. Freehan, 83, of Melbourne Place died Wednesday at home. Born in Pittsfield on March 23, 1921, daughter of Victor and Adela Dardzinska Siwik, she graduated from Pittsfield High School in 1939. Mrs. Freehan was employed by the former Eaton Paper Co. as an assembler in the Nascon division for many years, retiring in 1982. She was a member of Holy Family Church. Her husband, Richard C. Freehan, whom she married Oct. 4, 1941, died Dec. 27, 2003. She leaves two daughters, Margaret Milone of Gilbert, Ariz., and Judy Culver-Bueno of Pittsfield, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Regina G. Freehan, who died June 17, 2004, will be Monday at 11 at Holy Family Church, with Deacon James Hagar officiating. There will be no calling hours. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to HospiceCare in the Berkshires, in care of WELLINGTON FUNERAL HOME, 220 East St., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
